Waking up the morning of my daughters' graduation open house was a feeling of peace. I knew Karin had everything under control. However, I did not fully appreciate how absolutely spectacularly she would have everything prepared.
As this was my first catered event since my wedding 20 years ago, I peppered Karin with questions. Karin was easy to work with - her typical answer was something along the line of 'No problem' or 'got it covered.' Guests raved about the set up and food. I would absolutely hire Karin again!

Hey moms! If you haven’t taken your family to a Magic Show Dinner at Serenity, you are MISSING OUT!!! We had SO much fun last night and this magician is AMAZING!! He had the adults cracking up and the kids stunned! (Not gonna lie- the adults were pretty amazed too!!) He visits each table performing tricks & chatting, and then does one big show for everyone! |

I really enjoyed the lunch and dessert at your beautiful Zionsville location. Everyone is so nice! I enjoyed the lobster and shrimp sandwich, salad, and scone. And the raspberry almond cake with white icing was delicious! I look forward to returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Thank You for providing such a lovely evening. We had so much fun celebrating our anniversary at Serenity, dining & solving your murder mystery! Our group of 8 (family & friends) had a memorable experience, in fact we still remind each other of the characters we portrayed. How FUN! We truly hope that everyone that has heard our stories will take advantage of the opportunity to dine with you soon. After all you never know what or who you'll find floating in Zionsville.

I am running a little behind sharing my experience at the Serenity for the Backwards Dinner. My daughter and I made reservations, and I will never forget how relaxing, educational, and memorable time this was. We were taught the proper way of etiquette dinner and the backwards way. We have not one single negative thing about any of our experience. Of course, my seven year old did in fact notice the tea cups, and we are now looking into having tea time with you all. Thanks so much for a very meaningful experience :)

We had the most amazing time. We had people tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to and I think people had a great time, especially me! Your staff was great, the food was great, and the propylaeum was beautiful. I am going to make an extra photo book for you. Thanks again for everything!

First let me say what a wonderful time all my friends and I had at the Mystery Dinner last night. We have not had that much fun in along time. Just with the short talk you and I had after dinner last night it's real easy to see you try very hard to do all the right things in and around the community to make things better for everyone around you.
Just looking across the room last night it was real easy to see that everyone there really did forget who they were and became a part of the event for the evening and speaking from experience that's hard to do. Anyway last night was a night to remember and we will do this again as well as some of your many other fun filled evenings. Again thanks for the great evening last night.

The wedding was truly amazing. The best day of my life. People thought the food was amazing, the decorations and flowers were beautiful and the venue was impressive. The day far exceeded my expectations and thank you so much for your hard work and partnership to make this happen. I just wanted to express our gratitude before we depart but I will contact you when we get back to pick any remaining things up!

I just want to thank you once more for the wonderful job you did on Brianna's wedding. I look at the pictures and think that everything was just perfect. The flowers were absolutely stunning, the tables were beautiful and the food was scrumptious. Everything was just right. Not over the top. It was such a lovely day and wonderful wedding. Everything was wonderful! The whole evening completely exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be more happier with the way everything turned out. The staff working the event were all wonderful too. All of our guests commented (and still are) about what a great place Serenity was to have a wedding.

Thank you for making this an eventful lunch for my granddaughters and I. They are 5 & almost 3. We have been learning manners and playing tea party. Our visit brought it to life. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer and played right into our visit making it a memorable event. The chicken salad is highly recommended.

We attended the baby shower tea last Saturday. My daughter was the guest of honor. I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the mansion, how beautiful everything was, and how delightful the wait staff! Just wanted to thank the Propylaeum staff for helping to create wonderful wedding ceremony and reception! The carriage house and the main building were absolutely beautiful, the food was delicious, and in spite of the extravagant feel, the whole event was amazingly budget-friendly. Highly recommend. :-)

My husband and I enjoyed a great evening celebrating Valentine's Day a bit early with dinner and a mystery. We helped solve "Who Killed Cupid " the first night it was offered and had a lot of fun. We met new people and had a lot of laughs as we all really got into our characters that we were assigned.
It was something different as EVERYONE got to participate. It was a hoot listening to Karin host as she gave us clues and dropped off "evidence" at our tables. We were playing (5 hrs. behind) with a huge group from England and Karin revealed in the end that the writers had been watching us play through Skype and said we were all having too much fun!
The only hard part was trying to hear everyone at our table over the other tables that were talking too.
This was our first experience at the Propylaeum and we will be going back to try other things that are offered there.

I wanted to send an email to share my experience today at Serenity. I had reserved the restaurant today for a shower for my daughter Casey. I had found the place on line and my other daughter and I ate lunch there months ago to try the food. I met Debbie Bossi that day. She was busy but took time to talk about having the shower and menu options etc. She was very nice.
We decided to have the shower at Serenity because we liked the ambiance and liked the attentiveness of Debbie and loved the food. We spoke about some more details and I ended up putting a deposit down so we would have the restaurant all to ourselves.
The invitations went out and Debbie and I stayed in touch with each other. I agreed to bring flowers that matched the colors of my daughters wedding and I ordered a cake that was delivered today. I shared with her the number of RSVP's that I had received and she made plans accordingly.
I arrived today around 12:30 and was glad I was able to come in and starting preparations for the shower. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They changed the napkins to our color scheme, moved tables so that guests could see a video that we played during the shower. They brought scissors, supplies as I needed them and stored my boxes that I brought things in with in your back room during the shower. They also offered to help hang decorations. They also cleared two of the tables that are typically decorated for Serenity and made a place for the cake and flowers for that table and Mimosa's so that we could offer them to people as they came in the door.
THEN, people started arriving and 7-8 people showed up that hadn't RSVP'd and the staff immediately started bring out extra plates, pulling up chairs and "fitting" people in. They plated up food for EVERYONE and did so with a smile on their face.
I will highly recommend Serenity and Debbie and the rest of the staff to anyone who asks.

I am so sorry that I don't remember the other two staff that helped today who were equally wonderful. One young lady who knew the cake company and a very nice lady with red hair that was so sweet and helpful.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Serenity after a meeting today and I just wanted to email you to inform you of what a positive experience it was! Our server was wonderful, making great suggestions for pairings of the salads and soups. I was pleased to see quite a few vegetarian options and unique ones at that. I ended up having the Hobo Panini and it was wonderful and fresh. The salad was adequately dressed (most restaurants put way too much dressing in my opinion). The addition of the perfect sized scone was a great treat!

My friend Susan and I attended last nights event and had the most remarkable evening. The food and wine pairings were beyond my expectations. The mystery as a ton of fun and the friends that were made just added to the enjoyment. We got to be part of a couples engagement and that will live in my mind forever! Thank you for having an alternative to the everyday death march of the masses at every other restaurant. THANK YOU for bringing such a classy event to Indianapolis. We will return again!

Last night's 8-course wine pairings dinner was an unbelievable experience. It is soooo worth the full price and I can't believe I was able to participate in this event at such a great price using my Groupon. I highly recommend this event to any and everyone, and look forward to attending other events at the Propylaeum. Thank you, Karin, for what you're doing.

We had a wonderful experience yesterday at lunch. I brought my parents and two young daughters for lunch. Everyone was very pleasant and accommodating. It was very much appreciated! Oh, and the food was fabulous! Thanks so much!

Every year during the holiday season I plan a special event for my family which in cludes my husband and two teenagers, 14 & 15. They rarely look forward to my choice but realize it is important to me (and it isn't optional) so they go with only a little resistance. When we arrived, they were all intrigued by The Propylaeum. My 14 year old daughter wants to bring friends to stay all night. When we sat down and they realized they each had a script and were sitting with four strangers they were going to have to talk to throughout the night they were not so thrilled. However, we had one of the best, most memorable evenings out we have ever enjoyed together. As we left they were talking about the next time we get to go. Thanks so much for giving our family a special evening together.

My husband and I joined 3 other couples for an evening of mystery at Signature at The Propylaeum. We debated for quite awhile over which of us was the murderous culprit, but in the end, could not form a consensus. However, we were in total agreement that this was a fabulous time with great food, great friends and great fun! The service was impeccable and the surroundings in the elegant Propylaeum made for a charming experience. If you've never tried this as an evening of fun, I highly recommend the mystery dinner! You won't be disappointed!

Just a quick note to sing praises for the WONDERFUL meal, service, tours & overall experience yesterday for our group at the Propylaeum!! It was one of the BEST meals we've had all year & I hope to return soon for one of your special events. Karin, you and your wonderful staff really impressed the girls with your beautiful bone china, the charger plates, and the lovely linens. Of course, they loved the treats! Cucumber sandwiches were a particularly big hit-- along with the wonderful tea selections and the beautiful sugar molds. When I asked the girls what they liked best, they beamed and said "everything." Your positive attitude is contagious.

I gave an AIW tea luncheon last year at your beautiful Zionsville location, Serenity and everyone raved about how good the food was and the attention to detail along with the fascinating building too.

Karin, you also told me about Lilly's Boutique and having a fashion show...that was another brilliant idea you gave me. Joan Carney was so professional and gave such an interesting fashion show that everyone enjoyed so much.

Karin does a nice job with narrating the evening. We learned a lot about wines and also enjoyed the good food and service.
